scott’S STORY
Action Drill & Blast is running a campaign to assist Scott Langley (Langers) with the costs associated with treating his recently diagnosed Lyme Disease.
Action Drill & Blast is running a campaign to assist Scott Langley (Langers) with the costs associated with treating his recently diagnosed Lyme Disease. Langers has been unable to work for the past four months and has had an uphill battle in getting a diagnosis despite many visits to numerous doctors and specialists.
Lyme Disease is called “The Great Imitator” because it can imitate many other diseases such as MS, Parkinson’s, ALS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome etc. This is a debilitating and infectious disease caused by bacteria (spirochete) that infects humans from the bite of ticks. Lyme Disease can affect any organ in the body including muscles and joints, the heart, gastro-intestinal and neurological systems. A short, intensive treatment course in Germany is the best chance for success in treating the disease. This is both expensive and disruptive to the families involved.
Scott and his partner Annabel are expecting their second child in early 2015 and have had to sell their home in WA and relocate to Qld to be close to family, including Scott’s terminally ill mother, at this time.
Please help Scott and his family through this difficult time by donating to the fund for his treatment program. Your support is truly appreciated.
